The following supplies are needed to participate fully in the class.  
Day 1:  String (about 8 feet long, kite string works best as the string has to thread through the straw), 1 straw, masking tape, balloons (2 or 3), paper, pencil, scissors
Day 2:  Popsicle or craft stick (the thicker one works best), Large rubber band or a few medium size ones, masking tape, 1 Straw, 3 index cards or a large piece of card stock, 1 pencil top eraser, 1 metal brad/fastener, paper, pencil, scissors
Day 3:  safety glasses, 4 pennies, masking tape, 4-8 Alka Seltzer tablets, water, paper, pencil, film canister or small air tight Tupperware container (This container must have a snap on lid, and can NOT have a twist on lid.  Also, please NO glass containers.  Please put water in the container, flip it over and be sure it does not leak.  This is how you will know that it is air tight. If you do not have an air tight container, the rocket will NOT launch.)
If you don't have these items at home, most can be found at your local dollar store!
