Roblox 遊戲、程式設計和 Minecraft 訓練營

Roblox 

Learners will meet, game and socialize with their peers. The teacher will game with the students, moderate, encourage, help and guide students with game tips. Learners will post their top 3 Roblox games to the classroom. Our random generator will choose the game of the week from that list. Each student will share their user name with the teacher, and we will play games on a private server.
*Guardians must provide permission for their enrolled students to share their Roblox player information.


Coding 

We will open Scratch and learn what each of the functions can do to help us. We will learn how to code a simple and interactive animal project. At the end of class, learn some tricks and tips to make coding even easier. Various coding concepts will be covered in order to increase the students' knowledge of Scratch coding. Coders can work together and each student will be encouraged to discuss their own programming ideas with the group. This club is perfect for those who are interested in gaming and want to have a basic grasp of how video games are made. Before registering for this club, please make sure that your device is compatible with Scratch.



Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Students will meet, game, and socialize with other Minecraft players. Students will be able to play on devices that are compatible with Bedrock. Students will build based upon a challenge each week. Some challenges will encourage small groups or whole class, while others will encourage students to build independently. Learners will also share tips and tricks with one another as we play.

In addition to Zoom, we will be using third party platforms. It is recommended that students bring another device to use (tablet, mobile phone, another computer).  I will be sharing my screen on Zoom and they can interact with the lesson on another device.
