This course is designed for students that have an interest in health science such as medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, exercise science, and physical rehabilitation. Each week we will discuss a branch of rehabilitation sciences. Our discussion will include careers, educational requirements for the field, general overview of the field, fun facts, and a demonstration. Topics: Week of 5/29: What are Rehabilitation sciences? I hold a Bachelors of science in Health Sciences and a Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics. I am a full-time healthcare professional (resident orthotist). I have been a science educator for over 6 years.
