Join Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy in this 6 week course exploring the pride and prejudice of which they're both guilty! In every class, we will meet together to discuss the chapters we have read prior to class. We will utilize Nearpod to participate in games, quizzes, activities, and virtual field trips that enhance our understanding of the story. Throughout our reading, we will chart the progress of our characters and their journey to overcome their faults of pride and prejudice....
Learners will be able to chart the progress of characters over the course of a novel Learners will be able to identify themes using evidence from the text Learners will be able to interpret symbolism using evidence from the text Learners will be able to write from a variety of perspectives
I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 with a degree in English Education and have been teaching English/Language Arts in the classroom or online ever since.

Learners will need access to "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. Paper copy, ebook, or audiobook are all fine. Learners will also require a way to access Nearpod during class. A second device such as a phone or tablet is best.
