Students will be taught the steps to achieve a smooth coat of polish. Then using household items (a toothpick), students will learn an easy technique to create a tie dye nail design. We will do the design on at least 3 nails per hand like shown in the cover image. Using red, white and blue the design is perfect for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday in the United States or using other colors, can be a fun design for any day of the week! Students will enjoy the creative process, learn an application technique for a smooth base coat of polish, and use a toothpick to create a fun design.

1 註冊後即可取得文件For this class students will need: * 3 nail polish colors (I used red, white and blue.) * 2-3 toothpicks * Anything wanted to protect the work area. * a wet wipe or Qtips to clean up around the nails (optional)

Please be aware of the possibly messy nature of nail polish and have an adult near by with students who are not experienced with nail painting, as well as preparing the area they will be working on to protect it from spills. Also, as with any cosmetic product please be aware of the ingredients listed in the polish being used and be aware of any allergies to any of the ingredients.
