Get $3 off one class with coupon code KENNEDY2023 until Jan 5, 2022. In this weekly social club, we will recycle your toilet tissue and paper towel rolls into crafts and artwork. The instructor will create items live for students to follow along. This is a social club so conversation will be encouraged. The weekly project along with specific supplies for that week will be posted within the classroom. Week of January 1st Trees Week of January 8th Windmills Week of January 15th Among Us Week of January 22nd Minions I teach showing step-by-step demonstration to students. I prefer teaching ongoing classes that meet every week where students are able to get to know each other over time. Occasionally, I will need to cancel class with only a few days notice to travel for work or to meet family responsibilities. If this may be an issue, please consider it before enrolling. CLASS RULES All of my classes have the same classroom rules: Be kind to each other Don’t speak over others Allow everyone a chance to speak Mute yourself if you have background noise so we can hear each other You do not have to raise your hand to speak but if someone is speaking and you’d like to speak, raise your hand so I know to call on you next CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT It detracts from student class enjoyment and my ability to effectively teach when students do not follow the class rules. Students who do not follow the class rules will be corrected (muted in extreme cases) and reminded of the class rules 3 times each class before being sent to the waiting room. If a student is sent to the waiting room, a message will be sent to the parent after class about the classroom issues with the student. If a student is sent to the waiting room during 2 classes, the student will be withdraw from class.

I enjoy incorporating educational opportunities into fun activities. For example, my Girls’ Coloring Social Club hides science, geography, social studies, arts, communication and history.
My teaching style preference is a homeschool approach emphasizing respectful for the child by allowing children to speak during classes rather than instituting abject muting. Students are treated like they and their ideas are important. Students are able to learn proper socialization skills over time through this teaching method.
Occasionally, I will need to cancel class with only a few days notice to travel for work or to meet family responsibilities. If this may be an issue, please consider it before enrolling.
CLASS RULES
All of my classes have the same classroom rules:
Be kind to each other
