Welcome to the course 'Real World English Language Discussion Lessons ESL EFL ELA (Quarter Version)’ with Teacher Lynn. ❤️ This easy-going course is aimed at ESL, EFL, or ELA learners who are interested in expanding their English Language Arts skills though discussion. ✨ Discussions include news, movies, famous people and business! 🎎 Learning English in this self-pace course is at the learner’s independent pace, own time, and convenience. Learners will follow along as if it was a set of on-going live classes. Learners may watch the pre-recorded videos (containing Teacher Lynn), complete the writing and vocabulary practice, write their in-class assignments, and homework activities any time during the course! There are no live zoom classes. In this course, learners will be introduced to discussion topics with a focus on reading, comprehension, listening, writing, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Speaking practice will also be available. Learners will learn about various real world everyday topics in English! 📚 Learners will be surprised by the English they already know! 🎮 This course is 10 lessons long. Videos, Discussion, Activities and Worksheets will be provided every lesson. LESSONS TOPICS: Lesson 1: Animated Movie Lesson 2: Famous Sportsperson ⚽ Lesson 3: Fashion Company 👘 Lesson 4: Famous Singer Lesson 5: Adventure Movie Lesson 6: American President 🔍 Lesson 7: International Holiday Lesson 8: Health News Lesson 9: Famous Author 🖋️ Lesson 10: Royal Person 🌟 Teacher Lynn will: 1) Provide the videos lessons containing Teacher Lynn ▶️ 2) Create discussions on the in-class assignment of the lesson 💬 3) Attach Homework worksheets to the classroom 📝 Learners are highly recommended to participate in the class activities. Learners will also be recommended to scan or take photos of their completed homework activities. Learners are highly recommended to complete the following tasks by the end of the course date: 1) Watch the video lessons ▶️ 2) Complete their in-class assignment. No prerequisite classes for this course.

Notebook and Pencil are recommended to take notes. A working microphone is also recommended for speaking assignments. **To submit the completed homework worksheets, students may need a printer and scanner, or a program that allows them to write on the pdf homework worksheet files and they can take a screenshot/photo. (Please contact Teacher Lynn if there is a difficulty submitting the completed homework worksheets.)

Hello! I'm Teacher Lynn! I'm from Arizona, USA. My goal is to prepare students for English conversation and study abroad. I am passionate about introducing different countries and cultures through English. I love to travel and read stories. My class is filled with student-centered activities and stories for creative and critical thinking. I am very patient, always correct pronunciation, and provide a lot of positive encouragement. I have been an English teacher at private and public schools in Korea and Japan for over 10 years (since 2014). I have a Master's degree. I have teaching certifications, including TEFL, CTBE and TESOL. I look forward to seeing you in my class for a fun, happy and exciting learning experience!
