I have been teaching and tutoring online since 2018 and served as a 3rd Grade classroom teacher and mentor for several years prior. I hold a Master's degree in TESOL, and work as an Adjunct ESL community college instructor. My work experience is varied and I have enjoyed many years working with students who struggle with reading, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and executive functioning.

Homework will be offered as an extension of classroom activities. Homework is not mandatory and will be discussed during the follow-up session. The type of homework will be vocabulary comprehension (to look up the definition of words and to write an effective sentence to demonstrate understanding). Another example will be to unscramble sentences to form a complete thought or structure a paragraph. Learners are expected to bring the same notebook to each session and will record dictation to complete the homework. No printing of worksheets are be required.
