課堂經歷
What will be taught? Twenty literary devices useful to real-life situations from writing college admission essays to song writing, reading and understanding complex stories and business writing. Recognizing the devices and how to use them. Class Structure Classes are structured to suit invidual learners capacities and pacing. This prevents learner disengagement due to pace differences. Required Experience or Knowledge Some degree of critical thinking and information processing from paced text presented in a sequential format. Intermediate vocabulary. Learner Interaction All learner interactions are through either the Outschool site or via the Insight Reading support email.

Students will learn to read with a more perceptive eye and mind as to story structure, author intentions and engaging literary devices such as symbolism, similes plot flows etc., and how they are constructed and used.
