In this course, the letters of the alphabet are taught with their corresponding sounds. The students will learn digraphs, trigraphs, combinations, etc... We will cover some grammar. Proper letter writing will be modeled. The student will play the video and pause when needed to complete assignments. We will practice spelling words with kinesthetic style learning,

I love to teach students in fun and engaged ways. Grammar has always been my favorite subject. I, also, love teaching math and phonics. I taught grades K-3 in a public elementary school for 16 years. I am a certified teacher with a bachelor's and master's degree in elementary education with an emphasis in mathematics. I have a specialist's degree in educational leadership and curriculum. I have dyslexia therapy training from William Carey University, and I have training through Orton-Gillingham.
I love the beach, swimming, taking my dogs for walks, painting, and many other crafts.
