This is a reading summer camp that can meet up to 3 times a week that focuses on increasing your child's decoding, phonics, & spelling skills. I recommend meeting 2-3 times a week to increase reading skills. Assessment
頻率: Available upon request細節: I will administer an assessment during our first session. This will assess the needs the student has with letter sound/identification, phonological awareness, decoding, and spelling. This will give me a good starting point which skills need to be worked on. Informal assessments will be given throughout the course. I will assess all skills worked on at the end of the course. The assessment results will be shared with the parents to inform them of the child’s progress and what skills they need to work on.
This class is designed to help students with reading disabilities. The instruction provided has research based practices designed for reading disabilities.
