Aligned with State-Specific Standards
This class is chock-full of reading and learning strategies. In our time together, students will read two informational passages. They will practice using the six strategies to understand what they read and then paraphrase the text in their own words while avoiding accidental plagiarism. In this class, students will interact with the large group of students, and the instructor. We ensure students feel comfortable but also challenged. ;) We take an "I do, we do, you do" approach to teaching....
