For this one -time class students will need to be familiar with all the letters of the alphabet and their sounds. We will practice some of these letters in a fun and engaging way before looking at the digraphs. We will use pictures and objects to help write words and guess the word. All students will also read, listen and write sentences to practice using the words. If time allows we will end the class with scavenger hunt. Students will have the opportunity to interact with each other...

Paper and pencil or whiteboard and marker for the children to write and show their work.
