Is your child getting enough reading time with his/her teacher? If not, I am here to help. Read-In With Teacher Cindy (Saturday Edition) is a 45-minute, 1:1 reading program for your child to practice reading aloud. I believe that finding "Just Right Book", exercising reading strategies and keeping a consistent schedule is necessary for reading success. In each class, your child will... 1) have a book of his/her choice if not I will have a book for your child; 2) brainstorm and activate prior knowledge; 3) apply reading strategies to read the text; 4) engage in meaningful conversations using text-self, text-text, text-world connection (informal assessment)
