Students will strengthen critical thinking skills as well as creative writing skills. Comprehension, asking questions, making predictions and inferencing are also a few skills students will improve as well. Students will have exposure to an interesting short story that will allow them to explore text structure, story elements, and vocabulary that will provide them with knowledge and confidence to apply in their writing. 

I am a certified special education teacher as well as regular education teacher. I am able to scaffold lessons as necessary to meet the needs of any learner.
