We will discuss the Four R's of Green Living (recycle, reuse, re-purpose, reduce) by doing our part to help reduce the cardboard and plastic going into landfills while incorporating sustainability practices. I will lead students in a Hands-In-Project by allowing them to construct a DIY Miniature Raised Bed Garden that is both imaginative and functional. I will encourage the students to choose their favorite seeds to promote ownership and have fun Growing Their Own Food.

Students will understand and apply the concepts of recycling, conservation, measurement, spacial awareness, problem-solving skills, and perseverance in constructing their Miniature Raised Bed Garden.
