In this one time class I will be reading the "Rainbowfish" by Marcus Phister and we will talk about how the fish gains friends by sharing in the story. After reading the story your child can use the: PDF fish printable (optional) pre cut 1 inch squares of tissue paper (optional) one pre cut 1 inch square of foil (optional) glue stick (optional) or variety of coloring tools and paper (to draw the scales and fish) to following one and two step directions while making their own rainbowfish with me. The structure: Introduction with names-5 minutes morning meeting set up like a classroom (calendar, weather, share time, songs)- 10 minutes core lesson- read aloud, discussion, and art project- 30 minutes closure (sharing, singing goodbye)- 5 minutes Parental supervision is advised for the art project.

Your child will receive the most out of this class if their camera is turned on.
Parental supervision may be needed based on your child's ability to use the zoom features (mic, mute)

Whenever students are involved in a physical fitness routine, be advised of any potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open workout space, proper footwear, a water bottle if needed, and adequate stretching beforehand) as well as injuries that can occur if not properly supervised.

Hello my name is Ms. Faith but sometimes my students tease me and call me Ms. Frizzle because you never know what may go on in my classroom! I have spent 10 wonderful years teaching the primary grades and I have three children of my own.
