課堂經歷
During this class students will be exploring the fun and easy technique of mono-printing, which means "one single print". Students will be encouraged to go into their yard and forage leafs or ask for permission to grab some leaves from the house or neighbors to use as our print material. It is a very simple and fun technique to make patter on paper with markers. I will be demonstrating and doing the activity along with students. I am a very patient teacher, I am familiar with different learning abilities in children and love to assist those with more difficulty making everyone feel integrated in the activity.

5-8 different leaves (hardy ones better) 4 white pieces of paper washable (water based) markers *** please make sure student brings fresh markers with enough ink**. (Old matkers might not print as well).

My name is teacher Amanda, I am an artist and I love to teach Art!!
I graduated in Textile Design at Buffalo State College in 2013 and I develop artworks in all mediums.
I am an experienced teacher in many categories. I have taught art for kids camps and all ages activites at the Albright Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY, I have been a substitute teacher at Buffalo Public Schools, I am also a certified ESL teacher and a yoga instructor.
Exploring our creativity is the best way to learn how or with our hands and build self esteem.
I combine different learning techniques during my classrooms, where I approach mindfulness and sustainability. I like students to learn how to express themselves by creating an art. Allowing the students to express themselves allows them to gain confidence and avoid conflict within their own homes and social gatherings.
My approach for my classes is for my students to enjoy learning new techniques and ignite that creativity!
