This is an ongoing quilling class for the visually impaired. The classes will be tailored to encourage creativity. The students will gain confidence as they learn a new skill. They will take pride in their work and sense that their challenges in life will not prevent them from being an artist! Students will enjoy a variety of quilling projects. I have experience teaching quilling classes on Outschool. This will be my first time teaching a class for the visually impaired. A School for Blind Children reached out to me and asked me to offer this class. Each student will have a teacher assistant to help.
For each class, students will need the following: paper of various colors (construction paper or quilling paper) white liquid glue or a glue stick scissors pencil or quilling needles If the students have quilling tools, that is great, but it's not required for this class! There are various widths of quilling paper. Learners will learn over time what width is best for them.
Each student must have a teacher assistant to help keep them safe. Scissors and quilling needles are sharp.
