Animals have a special place in our hearts. A zookeeper helps out zoo animals stay healthy and helps when they are in need of help. They also help with daily animal care. This class will take a visit a real zoo via a video shot at the zoo and examine some of the things that zookeeper does. We will also have other sources of information as we discuss the job of being a zookeeper. Many students want to work with animals, and this class will help them to decide if that is what they want to do...
Students will learn about zookeeper as a career.
I have been a counselor for over 30 years, and a pet owner. As a counselor I taught careers, and this was part of my yearly career day.
No materials needed.
Videos of real zoos will be included as well as other information about zookeepers.
