Students will learn that what they feel when it comes to speaking in front of a crowd is normal. They will learn to manage their feelings and laugh at themselves. When teens realize what they have to say is valuable to others, they will be open to taking more risks.

A little about my education and background... I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, have worked both as a reporter and editor for a newspaper, have produced content for several magazines and have been an on-air radio personality. 

My Master's Degree is in Integrated Studies with a double-major in Writing & New Media and Workplace Organization & Leadership. Following, my work has been mostly as a business consultant by structuring organizational routines that fit with the leadership style of the owner(s), and helping them build brands by presenting their businesses through advertising, training, etc. I am also a yoga instructor and love marrying my two passions of writing and yoga in self-exploratory workshops. 

The consistent feedback I receive about my teaching style is that I have the ability to make students feel confident, while pushing through their personal limits in order to grow. That feedback really inspired me to join Outschool. I want to turn your learner's attention away from thoughts of self-doubt, and toward a spark of excitement.
