Class Experience:

During our session, I work one-on-one with each student to provide customized transcription support in real-time.

What will be taught? The focus of this class is not on teaching specific writing skills, but rather on providing transcription support that allows students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding across all subjects.

What topics will you cover?  We will cover any subject matter that involves writing, including essays, research papers, homework assignments, and standardized tests.

How is your class structured?  Each session is tailored to the student's current assignments and academic goals.  Students will verbally express their thoughts, and I will transcribe them directly into a polished final product. While I don't require students to bring notes or outlines, I can help them create these during the session for better organization and clarity.

How will you teach? I will utilize a combination of active listening, careful note-taking, and clear communication to ensure that the student's ideas are accurately captured and expressed.

What's your teaching style? My approach is patient, encouraging, and supportive. I create a safe and non-judgmental space for students to share their thoughts and ideas freely.

How much will learners get to interact with you? This class is built on high levels of interaction.  Each session involves ongoing dialogue and collaboration as we work together to translate the student's thoughts into written form. I provide verbal prompts and guidance to help students organize their ideas and stay on track.
