PowerPoint slides with colorful pictures will be used to introduce a unit of PSAT/SAT vocabulary words. Examples of sentences that utilize those words will be provided by the teacher. Students will then be invited to recall the previously learned words and to use them in sentences. I worked for The Nantucket Learning Group as a PSAT/SAT Tutor in the Summer of 2018. I have also consulted with various students on an individual basis about their approach to standardized test taking. During the last seven academic years, I have worked as an English teacher and as a faculty member of a learning center. My undergraduate degree is in English and my master's degree is in Education: School Counseling and Human Development.
