Welcome to Procreate for Beginners! This class will begin with creating a canvas and exploring color, brushes and the eraser. You will learn some useful Procreate shortcuts like undo and redo. Next, its time to start our project! You will learn how to use a drawing guide to create a symmetrical butterfly. We will add color and then save and export your work to the camera roll. Topics covered in this class: Creating a canvas size Selecting colors Brushes and eraser Brush slider Undo...
Learners will need two devices for this class: one device to join the Outschool Zoom meeting and a separate iPad for drawing. Two separate devices makes it easy to watch the guided drawing and work along with the teacher. Learners must arrive to class with Procreate downloaded on an iPad. Procreate is $9.99 in the Apple app store. Please bring an Apple Pencil or other stylus.
