In this one time class, we will learn step by step how to create 4 different types of bread using the IPad's Procreate drawing app. We will learn how to draw a croissant, pretzel, baguette and a loaf of bread. We will start by doing a rough sketch of the different breads with the pencil brush, then adding in separate layers for colouring and shading. Finally, we will add in a new layer for final details and touchups, followed by adding shadows for our background. We will use the built in...
Learners will learn how to draw in separate layers, select different brushes to create texture, add shadows and shading, using the Gaussian blur and selection tool effect to blend, creating depth with the alpha lock function, as well as basic procreate functions such as copy and undo/redo.
An IPad with the application Procreate installed. ($9.99 on Apps Store) An Apple Pencil or stylus. Drawing with finger will work too, but might be difficult to get into finer details.

This class requires an IPad , and a stylus or Apple pencil (Learners could also draw with their fingers on the screen, but won't be able to get into finer details. We will be using the Procreate application which is available for purchase from the app store for $9.99. This is a third-party app that will need to be downloaded onto the learner's iPad device. You will not need to create an account to use this app.
