I have extensive experience teaching writing to a variety of ages in many different contexts. I have also received multiple years of writing center training and have worked in multiple settings giving one-on-one tutoring for writing. My philosophy is of helping empower the student to make their own writing choices. Rather than providing an editing service, I provide rich discussions, give appropriate resources, and help students improve their writing abilities while boosting their confidence for future assignments.
