K先生的私人寫作輔導

Please let me know if you would like to schedule weekly sessions. I am available Monday through Friday in the afternoons and evenings. 

This is a private tutoring session, good for ages 7-18. The parent and/or student should provide me with a list of areas to focus on. Areas of focus may include grammar, spelling, vocabulary, sentence structure, outlining, research, and generating ideas to write about. Ideally, the student would come to class with a piece of writing that we can discuss and edit or a school assignment they would like additional help on.

We will start the first session with a short introduction about goals and areas for improvement. Then we will begin working through the skills and assignments that are most helpful for the student. This could include editing a writing sample, in which I will evaluate the student's skill level and areas for improvement. We will work down a writing checklist and offer guidance throughout. In the case of a school assignment, we will work through it together to ensure student mastery of the concept(s) being covered.

After class, the student will receive guidance on how to improve his or her writing skills along with setting goals for the future.
