This is a one-on-one learning environment. This is for 2 days per week, 30 minutes each class. The class will be structured the same as "Learn Ukulele With Dave" where students will: -be taught in a way that builds upon and refines the skills of the student. -be taught according to their level of experience. -work on one or more skills like common ukulele chords, proper hand positions, various strumming techniques, capos, and even some fingerpicking. I will keep a record of their progress in order to ensure they get the most out of each class. Learners can bring me a song they want to learn how to play and I will teach them how to play it. In this case, it would be helpful to send me the song at least 24 hours before class starts so I can be prepared for the lesson. My highest goal is that playing ukulele would be a fun experience for everyone!

I do not have a certification in ADD or Dyslexia assistance, but my oldest daughter has both and I've learned a lot through the years (mostly patience, encouragement, and creativity in relaying information and keeping students engaged).

I have been a musician for over 25 years, with the main instruments I play being acoustic guitar, classical guitar, ukulele, and bass guitar.
I grow out the nails on my thumb and first three fingers on my right hand so that I can play traditional classical guitar and fingerpicking on acoustic guitar.
My experience:
-opened for Josh Kaufman, Season 6 winner of The Voice.
-played bass guitar on my sister's album when she was with a record label
-played all three instruments in many different bands and performances
-taught many students, including my own children
-repair and maintain all of my own instruments
