Does your child struggle with phonics, reading and/or writing? I am here to help! I start by assessing your learner's letter and sound knowledge, decoding skills, writing ability and reading skills so that I can get to know them as a learner. Based on those assessments, I develop a plan to work on strengthening areas of concern. Skills covered may include letter sounds, syllables, blending and segmenting words, high frequency words and guided writing. I use a variety of hands on, interactive games and word play to make class fun and engaging. The weekly schedule will be based on the what the student needs to work on and will be posted once I have met the learner and analyzed their pretest. I require 24 hours notice for cancelled classes. I will do my best to work with you to reschedule when possible.
