My university-inspired Philo 101 kids academic series is designed to introduce novices to the discipline of philosophy. In this ongoing series, students will be introduced to the discipline of philosophy in a fun, engaging way with university-inspired curriculum adjusted to meet the level and interests of tweens. What that means is, with time, they will be collecting the same types of tools that are offered to introductory college students, just in a less formal or complex way.

Classes will be focused on the student engaging in an interactive discussion as I introduce the material, clarify concepts, and provide examples. 

1:1 Tutoring allows the individual learner to have a customized curriculum which will go at the learners own pace as well as in the directions of their particular interests. 

We will begin by exploring the following topics below during the first 4 - 6 weeks:

- What is Philosophy? 
- Traits of a Philosophical Individual
- Western Philosophy’s Origins in Ancient Greece
- Philosophy Today and Main Branches in the Discipline
- The Role of Critical Thinking, Argument, and Debate


*In addition, all enrollees in the academic series may join the Philosophy Club for a discounted price where they can enjoy additional practice exploring fun conversation challenges with other learners who are also interested in having more philosophical discussions! The club's focus is a more informal and relaxed environment so a perfect place to just have some extra philosophical chat time!
