This course will provide one on one instruction to be successful in the classroom. The class is tailored to individual student needs. Classes will begin with early math skills. The math skills of addition, subtraction, analog time, money, beginning multiplication, division, and problem solving will be taught as initial math skills are mastered. Students will learn basic math skills based on Common Core Standards. Students will be taught time, money, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Lessons taught will be tailored to individual student needs and parent requests.
Hello! My name is Teacher Catherine. I have over 25 years of teaching experience in public and private schools. I have taught third grade, Title One Preschool, and Kindergarten. I really enjoy helping young learners find a love for learning and become life long learners. I enjoy creating lessons that are fun and engaging. I have done lots of one on one tutoring and it is so fun to see the "lightbulbs" turn on as students make connections and start developing number sense and grasping basic math skills. My classes on Outschool will help scaffold students learning as they navigate school. I enjoy teaching children in early elementary levels.
