This private class will be 1 on 1 tutoring for middle and high school students. We will focus on conversational skills, homework activities, reading short texts in Spanish, skills for understanding audio selections, grammar and vocabulary. Grammar and vocabulary difficulties the students may have will be explained in a practical context for better understanding. I am a native speaker of Spanish and have taught all levels of Spanish from beginner to advanced placement. In my years growing up in a Cuban household, studying in Salamanca, Spain and teaching both kids and adults, I have learned strategies to engage the students and make learning a new language fun and exciting. As a Spanish tutor, I have succeeded in helping my students build confidence in the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
