One on one reading tutoring. The reading topic will be based on the students interests to keep them engaged. The teacher will guide the student in reading challenging words with confidence. Spelling rules will be taught along the way. Parents are encouraged to message the teacher with topic requests for the lesson’s reading. Most students like to read about animals! Students won’t even realize they are being challenged when they are reading about their interests. We will also discuss meaning of new vocabulary when we learn how to read new words. There is no point in knowing how to read a word if you don’t know the meaning!
