This course will begin with an optional 90 minute (three sessions) diagnostic. I will review the results and provide an initial report to the parent complete with an individual plan designed to address each students math deficits. 

Each session will be complete with a mini-lesson(s), I do/you do and active dialog and student teacher interaction. I will employ structured questioning to uncover what each learner already is proficient at and use this verbal understanding to construct non-verbal and quantitative reasoning.

Each lesson will be unique to the needs of each learner and driven by the diagnostic and updated with assigned weekly topics to be practiced/mastered with assigned, optional homework.

Topics taught may include (but not limited to)
Solving equations
Rational numbers, identifying and operations using fractions, proportions and ratios
Linear, Exponential and Quadratic functions
Order of Operations
Systems of Equations
Percents
Properties of Exponents

I will provide a weekly parent update addressing progress upon request.
