Bonjour! *** for all levels from beginner to advanced level *** This class is offered on an ongoing basis. The class is advertised for 30 minutes once a week but, I can also offer 45 minutes or 1 hour classes to meet weekly, or twice a week. The cost is 1$ per 1 minute. Once we've achieved your goals, this class can be stopped with one week notice. As a one-to-one class, this class and content will be adapted based on the students’ needs and learning development. We will work on a plan together to meet your objectives. This class is suited for all students who would like to learn French or develop their existing knowledge and practice pronunciation with a native French speaker. The objectives are to learn French at a pace that work for your children ensuring that they enjoy it but are also challenged. Skills focus: • Listening skills to spoken language. Show understanding by joining in and responding. • Speaking skills: using vocabulary and language structure. • Reading skills: read words and show understanding of words. • Writing skills: write words and show understanding of words. • Grammar Merci! I am Anissa, a friendly and dedicated native French speaker and tutor passionate about supporting learners of all ages, levels, and abilities.
Originally from the French Alps, I have called the UK home for over 15 years.
Being multilingual myself, I deeply understand the challenges and rewards of mastering a new language. Over the past six years, I have provided French tuition and previously taught beginner classes at my local college. My teaching style is practical, relaxed, and interactive, incorporating visuals, role plays, and games to create a collaborative and enjoyable learning experience. Seeing my students thrive and have fun while learning brings me immense joy.
Beyond language tutoring, I am deeply committed to mentoring and education. I have volunteered with RSA Academies and I am currently supporting the One Million Mentors programme, where I guide young people in discovering their potential and purpose.
Additionally, I lead a global team within the Travel & Tourism industry, inspiring and motivating individuals to reach their full potential. I also freelance as a Wine & Spirit Educator, allowing me to interact with diverse cultures worldwide.
With a postgraduate education and a strong belief in lifelong learning, I aim to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in every student I teach.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, taking long walks with family and friends, gardening, and reading.
