Each lesson is individualized for the student and will cover all of the basics they need to feel confident and joyful when playing the flute. Students will establish great flute posture, assembly of the flute, embouchure, tone, articulation, and will learn how to read notes on the staff fluently. Students will learn their first notes and learn new notes every week! We will also establish great breathing, finger placement, and body alignment.

Students will have weekly goals to work toward before each lesson through daily practice time. Students will not be expected to perfect every goal each week, but will need to put forth effort every week through individual practice time.1 - 2 每週課外時間

Student and teacher will work together to choose appropriate exercises and activities for weekly instruction and practice. This may include a flute method book and/or pneumo pro (practice device) to be purchased by the learner. If students are unable to purchase materials, alternative materials can be provided.
