課堂經歷
Students will learn the fundamentals of music and their instruments including how to tune, play chords and melodies, read music, ear training, etc. As students advance and their tastes become more genre-specific, so do their lessons so they can learn to play in whatever genre or style they are interested in. I teach using a variety of resources including diagrams, sheet music, tablature, videos, method books, and lead sheets. I believe that everyone learns in their own unique way and I do my best to find each student's learning style so that I may personalize their lessons to best suit them.

Hello and Welcome!
My name is Diego. I teach private lessons on most fretted instruments including guitar, mandolin, bass, ukulele, and banjo.
I have been playing music for over 20 years and teaching for 15. I received a bachelor's of music with a concentration on jazz/commercial guitar from Towson University. As a working musician in New York, I regularly perform in a variety of settings including wedding receptions, cocktail hours and ceremonies, pit orchestras, jazz ensembles, Irish folk groups, and pop, funk, and R&B bands among many others. I pride myself on being able to play in any style/genre and as a result, am able to teach any style/genre of music.
I believe that music should be as fun and enjoyable as possible. I encourage my students to learn what they want to learn but also challenge them to step outside their comfort zone. Each and every song/piece has something to learn from.
When I am not playing or teaching, I am either lounging with my dog, on a hike, or playing video games, usually something Nintendo related.評論
