Once upon a time, in a wonderful dancing land, there was a dance camp hosted by a royal princess! Each magical day, your little princess will learn ballet, hear a story, and learn a dance! Welcome to Princess Dance and Story Time! I can't wait to dance together! This class will begin with a Princess Story! We will then move into a warm up and stretch on the floor. Next we will stand up and begin across the floor and center floor where we will learn ballet dance movement and terminology. We...
Students will learn beginner ballet dance terminology and movement while dancing to some of our favorite princess songs. We will practice balance, flexibility, and coordination skills. Most of all we will have FUN!
Please create a space that is open and large enough for your dancer to move, dance, jump and glide without bumping into things. Learners should wear comfortable clothing that they can easily move in. Princess dresses are encouraged! Learners should either wear ballet shoes or bare feet. Please no socks, as dancers can easily slip while wearing them.
