In this ONE TIME one-on-one, 45-minute class, students will learn what prime and composite numbers are, what the differences are, and how to identify them. We will also go over many examples, complete a prime and composite number activity and play a game to reinforce these skills. If there is additional time remaining in class, we will play other fun grade-level math games for further speed and reinforcement. I hope your student will join me in this class to build their confidence in identifying prime and composite numbers! NOTE: This is a ONE-TIME class, therefore please only sign up for 1 meeting. If multiple meetings are signed up for, I will kindly cancel all meetings after the first one. If your student is 6th-9th grade and you would like additional meetings with me, please sign up for my ongoing 1-1 math tutoring classes! I would love to see them there! :-)

Hi there! My name is Mrs. Lana and I teach math! I have tutored math for over 12 years (the last 6 of which have been online) and I am an online math educator in another sector as well. I have a math degree and secondary teaching certification and I have homeschooled for 16 years. I love helping kids have breakthroughs in learning math and help them to enjoy math tutoring through learning while having fun with math games and "tricks" to help with mental math. Who really likes to go to math tutoring??? So, I like to make it more fun and that goes a long way in helping a student to learn.
