👋 Hello, and welcome preschool with Ms. Candice where we always have so much fun! 🥳 This preschool class meets one-time each week, and is filled with learning all skills needed for kindergarten while having fun! I have over nine years of teaching experience. I have worked with students from preschool to 12th grade. I have been homeschooling my 6-year-old daughter for three years using curriculum that I have created as well as supplemental curriculum. I have taken training classes on teaching Montessori, and I keep myself educated and up-to-date with teaching methods and practices by reading published articles, taking professional development courses, and reading through new state teaching standards. I also earned my B.A. in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies, where I studied the impact families have on children and how children learn as infants through adolescent years and how they carry that into adulthood and into their own families. Such training and knowledge has equipped me with the tools necessary to be the teacher I am today.
