Welcome to Pre-K to 1st Grade Music Class! In this class, students practice their music skills every week through a wide variety of activities. Be sure to check the Activity Schedule below to stay up to date on our next activity! Sample activities include coloring themed pieces of art while listening to music (Listen and Color), tracing and drawing music symbols and notes, letter writing and spelling music vocabulary, matching games, making our own musical instruments, and more! I have a Bachelor of Music degree in classical piano performance and Master's degrees in music history and music theory. I have taught music from PK-12 and my experience has helped me to create classes that help learners get excited about classical music. I have a passion for presenting music in ways that get learners engaged in what they are listening to.
