The rest of the class will include original sing-a-longs like "My Spaceship,” curated finger plays, chants and songs from the best contemporary educators of young children. Students will familiarize themselves with group singing, coordinating body movements, and basics of rhythm.
No instruments required, but if the learner can bring a shaker of some kind (shaker egg, maraca, rattle), that is helpful for participation! Caregivers could also make a shaker using a medicine bottle and dried popcorn, or something similar. Anything that makes a rattling sound will work!
