In this course students will practice their multiplication facts through fun games. Students will meet once a week to practice multiplication facts. Students will not multiply by double digits. No specific facts will be covered, each class they will see a mix of previous facts covered and new ones. Students are encouraged to take the class as many times as they would like, the games will be the same but the facts covered might vary. Students will start the lesson by viewing 8 multiplication...
Students will practice multiplication facts through games in an interactive manner.
This is a lesson that I have taught both in a public school with a class of 30 students and in private tutoring setting, and I have always been able to identify the misconceptions regarding this lesson. This helps me adjust the lesson to individual needs.
Students can bring paper and pencil to class if they wish to take notes.
