Love Pokémon? Love gaming? Then you've come to the right place! In this class, students will engage with each other in a friendly environment whilst playing Pokémon Unite. Pokémon Unite is a multiplayer online battle arena game, consisting of two teams of five players. Each match is time-limited, and the team with the highest total score by the end of each match wins. Students will learn: - How to work effectively as a part of a team - Social skills - Emphatic listening skills - Verbal and nonverbal communication - How to develop new friendships
Students will need a Nintendo Switch or mobile device with the Pokémon Unite game/app downloaded. This is free of charge.
Students will need to share their Trainer IDs with other learners in the classroom if they would like to play as part of their team.
