*In this one-time class, students will build essential foundational skills in order to identify, evaluate, and compare facts and opinions using their favorite Pokémon characters. *We will begin class with an informal discussion where students can share facts and opinions about their favorite Pokémon characters. This discussion will be followed by an interactive introduction to facts and opinions with an opportunity for students to practice making factual statements and opinion-based...
At the conclusion of this class, students will be able to effectively distinguish between a factual statement and an opinion-based statement.
