In this class students who have finished a primer level piano book OR Playful Piano Level C will CONTINUE even further in their piano journey in a fun and playful way that will include games, songs and movement to reinforce the concepts learned!  They will receive instruction from an expert teacher who is joyful, kind and encouraging. 
***In order to register, students must have finished Playful Piano Journey Part C (or Wunderkeys Primer 2 or My First Piano Adventure Book C or any other Primer level Piano book) as a pre-requisite as we will be building on previous knowledge and Grand Staff note reading skills. Students must already know notes from Bass C to Treble G.

Students will:
* Review and reinforce correct position at the piano and posture
* Improve efficiency in cross staff note reading
* Read hands-together notes on the grand staff
* Explore hands together stepping and skipping patterns
* Many more songs to play on the piano both by reading and by improvising and even composing
* Continue acquiring confidence playing out of position

Students will meet each week for 30 minutes and each lesson will include time spent at the piano learning and playing as well as some movement and singing activities to reinforce concepts and keep learners engaged.  A small homework/practice assignment will be given each week at the end of class intended to be used for daily practice at the piano.

Stacked notes.  Using two note chords to harmonize with melody (unit 6)

Class 8
Tied notes and rhythm playbacks (unit 7)

Class 9
Using Tonic and Dominant notes in bass clef to harmonize melody in treble clef. (Unit 8)

Class 10 
Discovering rests in music (Unit 9)

Class 11
Review week and choosing of recital pieces

Class 12
Class mini-recital

Each class may progress slower or fast than the syllabus outline depending upon the learners enrolled and the practice time they spend out of class each week.
