Research demonstrates that learning is attained and retained through games and fun. Each class will start with a 5 minute or less interactive lesson or review of a grammar topic. Students will also receive a printable resource sheet to use during the game and keep for future writing projects. What a great way to keep the learning going and writers growing! I use an online game-show platform called Gimkit and Blooket. I have a subscriptions and students do not use personal accounts. I provide a link where students enter a password to join the game. There are many types of games including cooperative and competitive games. I create the questions and answers. Students do need to know how to read sentences. I add images to help with the content.
