In this class, students will learn and build upon skills including note reading, practical piano, music theory, as well as vocal technique. Because this is a semi-private class, the curriculum will be customized for each student. We meet once a week to review what has been practiced, cover new material, and outline what should be worked on for the following class. Students will improve their playing and singing abilities as well as gain a deeper understanding of musical theory. Goals can vary from student to student, and additional improvements can most times be noticed in self-confidence, public speaking, and focus.

Practice in between lessons will be required. Students are given clear instruction on what needs to be worked on as well as various ways to work during the week. Some students practice 10-20 minutes per day while others prefer longer practice sessions 3-4 times per week. This is based on the student's schedule and personal preference.
