Beginner 等級
This ongoing piano class is for beginner piano students who are interested in an introduction to piano. No prior experience is necessary. Learners need to have a piano or keyboard during class to play along with Mrs. Pauli. Learners will need to be able to see their screen to view the music while playing on their instrument. No book purchases will be necessary in this class. All music has been arranged by Mrs. Pauli and will be provided in a slideshow after class. The Piano Music Class...
The Piano Music Class Primer is a class designed to introduce the basic playing skills necessary to enter the Piano Music Class series. In this class we will cover: C position, Middle C position, Finger numbers, Exercises for right hand, left hand, and both hands, Songs for right hand, left hand, and both hands, Treble Clef and Bass Clef note names, and more.
Mrs. Pauli has taught piano lessons for over 25 years after earning a Bachelor's in Music from California State University, Long Beach. She has been a teacher on Outschool since April 2020. She arranges the music from the public domain and provides it to learners.

Google slideshows with the weekly music will be provided to the learners' emails after class and can be printed or viewed on screen for practicing throughout the week. Piano practice should be included in the learners' weekly commitment to this class. 10-15 minutes 3-5 times during the week would promote mastery of the new material. Learners are invited to email a video of their practice during the week for feedback within 24 hours from Mrs. Pauli.1 - 2 每週課外時間

Access to a piano or keyboard during lesson. Students need to be able to see the classroom screen where the music will be shown in a slideshow while they are sitting at their piano. It is very important to make sure I can hear your piano and that it is not blocked by the background noise suppression through Zoom. **Please turn on "Original Sound for Musicians" in the Zoom audio settings before class. ** If you need instructions on how to enable this setting, please watch this youtube tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEZMRtrSsYY Students using a desktop or laptop can adjust this setting during the meeting. However, students using a phone or tablet must enable Original Sound before entering the class or I may not be able to hear your piano.
