Week 1
Lesson 1
Digraphs
Lesson 1 is about digraphs! We will learn what digraphs are and about the most common ones. We will make, read, and write words with digraphs. 
Lesson 2
Blends
Lesson 2 is about two and three-letter blends! We will learn the difference between blends and digraphs before working with words that have both. We will make, read, and write words using blends and digraphs. 
 Week 2
Lesson 3
The Doubles Rule
Lessons 3 and 4 are about the doubles rule. We will learn what the rule is and when to use it, including the exceptions. We will begin making and reading words that follow the doubles rule. 
Lesson 4
The Doubles Rule pt. 2
We will expand on the doubles rule by continuing to make, write and read words that use it. 
 Week 3
Lesson 5
The Kept the Cat Rule
Lessons 5 and 6 are about the kept the cat rule. We will learn what this rule is trying to teach us and how to use it correctly. We will begin by separating words based on which part of the rule they follow before beginning to read and write with them. 
Lesson 6
The Kept the Cap Rule pt. 2
We will expand our knowledge of the kept the cap rule by continuing to make, read, and write words that follow it. 
 Week 4
Lesson 7
The Duck Honk Rule
Lessons 7 and 8 are about the duck honk rule. We will learn how to use this rule in our own reading and spelling. We will begin making words that follow the duck honk rule. 
Lesson 8
The Duck Honk Rule pt. 2
We will continue to learn and practice the duck honk rule by making, reading, and writing. 
 Week 5
Lesson 9
Word Families pt. 1
Lessons 9 and 10 are going to be about word families. Lesson 9 will cover the -ink and -ing groups. We will make, read, and write words with those word families. 
Lesson 10
Word Families pt. 2
This lesson will focus on the -ind and -old groups. We will continue to make, read, and write words with word families. 
 Week 6
Lesson 11
The Rich Witch Rule
Lessons 11 and 12 are about the rich witch rule, which helps the learner remember when to use "ch" or "tch" for the /ch/ sound. We will start by making and sorting words that follow the rich witch rule. 
Lesson 12
The Rich Witch Rule pt. 2
We will continue to work with words that follow the rich witch rule through reading and writing. 
 Week 7
Lesson 13
Contractions
Lessons 13 and 14 are about contractions. We will start by learning what contractions and the rules they follow before making our own. We will start by learning the most common contractions. 
Lesson 14
Contractions pt. 2
This lesson will be continuing to read, write, and make contractions. 
 Week 8
Lesson 15
Review
Our second to last class will be a review of everything we've learned in our course!
Lesson 16
Final
Our final class will be spent testing each student on how well they retained the information and covering anything that is still misunderstood.
